Mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, deep tissue massage involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. From strains to sports injuries, deep tissue massage helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury or intense exercise and reduce tension in muscles and tissues. Helps to promote increased blood flow and reduce inflammation. *45 minute session is used on an area or two that needs focused work; 90 minute session is full-body.

Hot stone massage helps to promote relaxation, eases tensity in muscles and soothes damaged soft tissues throughout the body. During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of the body.

MLD is a specialized massage type that gently assists the lymphatic system in maintaining the body’s fluid balance, blood circulation, and immune support. Very light pressure is used in this massage as it helps to reduce inflammation in the body and is effective both as a preventative treatment and as a postoperative rehabilitation treatment.

Deep breathing techniques call diaphragmatic breathing are usually done at the beginning and end of a therapy session to help open the deep lymphatic pathways. This is not only relaxing, but also helps increase movement of fluid toward the heart.
